The Governors and Leadership of Norwood are keen to always look at ways to improve the education of Norwood pupils and the experiences of parents. This is done in a number of ways - formal and informal.

The Head and Parent Support Advisor are on the playground every morning from 8.30am to answer questions, collect enquiries or listen to suggestions. The Deputy Head is also available every Monday from 8.30am to deal with any issues that parents of SEN children might have.

The Governors of Norwood Primary School issue an annual questionnaire for parents to evaluate how the school is doing in the following areas of school life:

  • The School
  • Children's Well Being
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Overall Satisfaction
  • Other things you would want a Norwood child to have experienced by the end of Year 6
  • Suggestions to further improve Norwood

This questionnaire normally takes place in the Summer term and the results are shared and evaluated with Governors in order for an action plan to be drawn up to address any major issues.

Parents are regularly encouraged via the school newsletter to contact Governors with any issues of note through a special allocated email address:    governors@norwoodmail.co.uk
