Forest Schools

Class: Year 3 Year: 2016-17

We had a wonderful time in the forest this week. As apprentice tree surveyors, Mr James taught us how to measure the girth, height and spread of a tree and as a result we were able to calculate its age. After that, we learnt how seeds disperse in a forest and then we made bird feeders to hang in our woods. We even had time for a few outdoor games on the field.
