P.E Lessons

Year 3 PE days this term are Mondays and Tuesdays. The children will need to come to school wearing their PE kits on these days. Your child can also have trainers in school for the Golden Mile on Thursdays.

Forest School

Please ensure your child is appropriately dressed for all weather.

Autumn Term - The Atkinson - Wednesday 16th October 2024

Spring Term - Chester Zoo - Wednesday 26th March 2025

Summer Term - Crosby Beach - Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th May 2025

(45 children for each trip to Crosby Beach, more information on this nearer the time)

Reading and Online Learning

Children are expected to read at least three times per week at home to an adult, and record in their Reading Records. Please engage with them and ask them question about what they have read!

All Year 3 children have TTRockstars and Oxford Reading Buddy accounts. TTR should ideally be completed three times each week for ten minutes. Oxford Reading Buddy is a wonderful resource, and can be used for home reading as well.
