Children's University

Children’s University is a charity that works in partnership with schools to develop a love of learning in children. We do this by encouraging and celebrating participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school.

Children's University is currently running in over 1,000 schools across 66 local authority areas in England. Children can sign up to Children's University through Norwood and collect their credits from their clubs in school and outside school with their Passport to Learning.

This passport is available from the school office at a price of £4 and is used for the whole of your children's school journey.

All clubs, that your child takes part in school, are already added to the CU system every half term by Mrs. Stewart, who is Norwood's Children's University Co-ordinator.

At the end of Year 2 and Year 6, children who have achieved a certain level of credits are invited to "graduate" at a ceremony at Edge Hill University in the Summer term.
